Hi! I'm Surabhi, a UX Designer. I care about creating user experiences that foster a sense of belonging, simplify complex information by making it easily understandable and accessible to all users, and reflect something about the team who created it.

The Anatomy Lab

Master's thesis | UX | VR | Visual Design

With the help of graph, the app tracks the ratio of healthy versus junk food. Based on it, students’ will be able to grow trees and unlock lands depending upon the points earned. If the ratio is towards junk food, trees may die and students will have to eat healthy food to save them.

Smart Caricature

‘MTF’ app is connected with the ‘Smart Caricature’. ‘It helps students to keep track of their meals. Animation feature of showing caricature’s emotion gives a human feeling and connects with the user. It gives a loud alarm whenever the user eats unhealthy food. At the end, when the user punches out, the device shows their entire day’s performance.

Autism

Major project | Visual Communication Design | Publication Design

The intention of the project is to understand the problems faced by autistic adults in their workplace. I want non – autistic individuals/ neurotypicals to understand them more better so that they get a friendly environment at the workplace. Some of the autistic adults/ neurodivergents do not get treated in a proper way. This causes mental health problems and discourages them to continue working. By understanding their problems, I want to bridge the gap between autistic people and their colleagues.

NID

Thesis | Architecture | Research

I wanted to design Institutional building for my thesis. NID was going to come up with a campus in northern part of India. It is a proposed project by the government. Since my third year of college, I used to visit NID, Ahmedabad so I knew about the culture of it. I thought I could give justice to this project. Therefore, I took this as my thesis.(hypothetical). My aim was to design the campus according to the requirement of the students. I did not want it to be a cosmopolitan building instead wanted to be a reflection of NID, Ahmedabad.
